From the moment you step off the plane you are immersed in a land
of stunning scenery and stanch culture. Welcome to Shanghai, China,
the economic capital of the People’s Republic of China, one
of the most fascinating countries of the world. You will visit Yuyuan
Gardens, and the amazing performers at the Acrobatic Show. On day
four you will visit the most important temple in Changhai, the Jade
Buddha Temple, following with visits to the Three Gorges Dam project
planned to be the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Visits
to the Shennong Stream in pea boats you will also pass through the
Wu & Quatang Gorges. We will visit Wanxian, Chongqing, Guilin,
Xian and Beijing. By day thirteen a visit to the Great Wall and
Travel through the valley of the Ming Tombs, where you will visit
the Chang Ling Burial site enjoying that evening a special Peking
Opera show. In Beijing you will take a once-in-a- lifetime richshaw
tour through the narrow streets and alleys of the oldest part of
Beijing and enjoy lunch with a local family in their home. A visit
is made to the Temple of Heaven, an impressive shrine where Chinese
emperors worshipped their gods. Attend a tea ceremony at the Imperial
Tea House. Later, Join your fellow travelers for a farewell dinner.
