As far as I can tell, this is a fairly standard laser pistol, although
it does seem a higher calibre (if one could apply that term to an energy
weapon) than Kiyone's. The small round "hammer" glows red when
the clip is empty. It is not the most durable weapon, as Ryo-Ohki takes
a bite from the barrel at one point.
By far the most unusual piece of Mihoshi's inventory is her red cube.
This odd device can access dimensional space. As such, it enables Mihoshi
to produce just about any object she desires, or gain entry to a dimensional
pocket like the Reverse World on the Souja or Washu's lab. Unfortunately,
it operates much like a Rubic's Cube, with the operator having to turn the
sides to get the desired effect. In Mihoshi's hands, this pretty much means
any effect is random, although it seems she has some idea what combinations
do what. (In the TV series, the cube loses its dimensional properties and
becomes standard issue in the GP...the picture
is from the TV series.)
When Mihoshi is carrying the cube around, it appears as a white puffball
attached to the hip of her uniform or battlesuit. Giving it a good whack,
however, will make it fall and revert to its normal state (often with some
random effect as the sides get scrambled...)
Mihoshi's battlesuit doesn't appear to be standard issue, either. It is a lightweight, durable outfit that seems to randomly appear when she needs it. Most likely, she pulls it from the cube. The battlesuit also seems to enhance her dexterity and strength, but this may simply be part of her reality altering powers, and not the suit itself.
The gloves of the battlesuit have some sort
of rapid fire energy weapon built into the disks that cover the top of the
hands. She has only used these once, but they are frighteningly effective.
A light combat interstellar shuttle, Mihoshi's patrol ship is fairly
ordinary. It has full living quarters and a robotic copilot, Yukinojo. I
do not know if Yukinojo is standard issue, but I would guess yes. GP patrol
shuttles are highly maneuverable (especially in Mihoshi's hands) and incredibly
durable. The picture illustrates the shuttle emerging from a dimensional
vortex.
Mihoshi's Mothership / Kiyone's Patrol Ship (Yagami):
This ship is quite a quandary. In the OVA, it appears for a brief time when Mihoshi docks with it to send her report on Kagato. She's the only one aboard (aside from Yukinojo), but other than that, I have no info.
In the TV series, this ship is Kiyone's patrol ship, the Yagami. It seems to be a slightly beefed up version of Mihoshi's ship. Kiyone can communicate with the ship via her earrings (don't ask); otherwise, it seems fairly ordinary.
Other Gear:
The above items are not the only things Mihoshi has acess to. In Episode 6 of the OVA, she wields a huge laser cannon akin to a bazooka. (Somehow, she looses this weapon when she enters the Reverse World.) The TV series introduces her power armor, a frightening looking mecha that menaces Tenchi and Ryoko before getting sliced in two by Tenchi's grandfather. It comes equiped with a high power laser cannon and flight capabilities. Kiyone has one as well, which Mihoshi promptly destroys.
