Here are some more pictures of Ryo-Ohki, in both her ship and humanoid forms. If only Ryoko were so sweet and gentle! On the other hand, too much cuteness can cause stomache upset, so it's probably a good thing that she isn't.

Curiously enough, Ryo-Ohki seems to undergo a sex change during the series. The translations I've seen of the original six episodes always refer to Ryo-Ohki in the masculine. Then, starting in episode seven, the summer special, "he" becomes a "she." Clearly, now, Ryo-Ohki is a she, but one has to wonder...I've never seen or read an explanation for this odd phenomenon. Perhaps cabbits just spontaneously change gender?
