Greetings, traveler, and welcome
to this little piece of dimensional real estate. Since you've managed to
find this site, I peg you as a clever and devoted fan. Eh? You say there's
a direct link? Hmm...looks like I'll have to have a little...talk...with
this Coyote fellow. Can't have people traipsing about unattended. Who knows
what you might bump into?
Well, as long as you're here, let me show you around. I'm still working on this area, so it's not yet up to my usual standards. It's hard keeping up all these dimensional pockets, after all. What, you think I just wave my fingers and they magically appear? <sigh> Yeah, yeah, "The technology of any significantly advanced race, etc." I've heard that one before. Even the greatest scientific genius in the universe needs to do some work and upkeep, even with all the helpers I have running about. If you want, you may visit my some of my other labs, shrines, closets, and what-not.
Ok, here we go. Stay close, please, and don't touch anything!
The last thing we need is more Masu running around...or another Michael
Jackson. (Cloned sheep are for amateurs.) You decide which is worse.
About Me
My full name is Hakubi Washu, but you may call me Washu-chan. Actually, I insist that you do. After all, it's the only appropriate way to address a 12 year old, right? RIGHT? <Author's Note: Humor her...it keeps her happy...> Good. My usual place of residence is the Masaki household, but I tend to move about. With all the noise at that place, it's hard to think, even in my lab. At least it's easy to study my favorite guinea pig, er, "subject," Masaki Tenchi. Now then...
Author's Note: Washu has neglected to tell you her history...for that, go here.
My most successful (well, mostly) project is my daughter, Ryoko. Juvenile delinquent that she is, she promptly ran off and got herself mixed up with all sorts of unsavory characters, including an ex-student of mine named Kagato. Yet, I see promise in her, especially now that she has fixated somewhat on Tenchi. Maybe she'll learn some responsibility. Over there is what I used for the final "birthing" process...
Along
with Ryoko, I created Ryo-Ohki, her ship and
travelling companion. Ryo-Ohki is the perfect complement to Ryoko, since
her sweet disposition counters Ryoko's hot temper. As a ship, she is quick
and powerful, and fairly easy to control. As a "cabbit," she acts
sort of as the household mascot. Ryo-Ohki is linked to Ryoko, as I am. She
used to have only two forms, but, due to an incident involving escaped Masu,
she now has four. Her other two forms are an adult and juvenile humanoid.
She's quite cute, in any form.
Currently,
of course, I'm studying Tenchi and his ability
to produce the Jurian Wings of the Light Hawk. So far, I have had little
luck in duplicating this phenomenon, or discovering exactly how he does
it. (Perhaps that's due to a missing sample?) To date, he's generated them
three times. The first time was on the Souja, Kagato's ship. The
second was while battling Yakage. <Note: This
happened in the Viz comic book.> Finally, he used them to escape the gravitational
field of an artificial black hole. They seem to be generated by subconcious
thought, in reaction to extreme pressure; I have yet to prove this hypothesis.
Now, you must excuse me, for I have work to do. I'll leave you in the capable hands of my assistant.
Yes, Washu fanatics, it's finally here! The Top 10 Signs You're a Washu Otaku, version 1.0! If you have any other good additions to the list, let me know and mayhaps you'll see them added. In the meantime, enjoy!
