The initial project involves publishing and distrubuting a local newspaper linked to web pages. Teens in our program will learn the processes used to accomplish these tasks. Their main activities will basically be, working with a premier publishing software (Quark Express), writing web pages at the programing level and a newspaper route. During these activities they will learn work ethic and job skills they can apply to any chosen field of endeavor. Learning oral and written communication and negotiation skills will be a focus of these activities. Life skills will be learned at this level also.
