TERESA'S PERSONAL DOGGIES - Asti, Winkie Poo, BaBaBaBoo, and Stanley

ASTI MEFISTOPHELES SPUMANTI

Ahh-Steee is a Shih Tzu, looks like a bandit Holstein cow! She's active and likes to climb up high as she can, maybe because she's such a shorty. Her "Grammy" somehow came up with the nick-name of "Moochie", and it's so interesting that so many people call her a Mooch! Asti has learned to appreciate food and snacks and human culinary delights.

She likes to wrassle with Winky Poo, her mentor. Winks just sorts of ignores her as she can. Asti has to follow everywhere the Poo girl goes. Asti was born March 5th, 2000, purchased from a mall dog shop. She is a delight!

WINKIE-POO Winkie-Poo is a pedigreed Dachsa-Poo: One parent was a pedigreed Dachshund, and the other was a pedigreed Poodle. What a great combination! She has a lean figure, can run FAST with her tiny 3" legs, likes "Pedigree Choice Chunks" as well as fresh carrots and radishes, ice cream cones, and she will occasionally eat Teresa's cooking.

She has become a dedicated bed-hog-dog. The Winks enjoys going kayaking, for car rides, and walks with her friend Asti. My little girl doggie especially loves "The Mommy Lady", Teresa's Mom, Evelyn.

BABABABOO BaBaBaBoo and I met at the local dog pound. His furry face, the glint of humor in his eyes, his wagging stub tail, and his pleading yapping attracted me to him immediately! My theme song is the Perry Como ditty "Ba ba ba boo," which seemed like a perfect name for such a unique friend. He was adopted by my mother when she moved to Carlsbad to keep her eyes on me, now she can't keep her eyes off her "little" doggy! Bubba is about as opposite of Winkie-Poo as can be, but they are best of buddies.

Bubba passed away in October 2001, and is now happy in his heaven of leftovers on the floor, and lifting his leg on any cloud that gets near.

STANLEY

Stanley was the first dog I owned on my own. He was a mutt Cairn/Westie/? mix, which was perfect for me, as we were both natural blondes. He was acquired from the dog pound after much consideration. Every time I went to see him he'd bark and bark and bark. I finally asked my mom to check him out with me, and she talked me into getting him. Mothers (at least MY mother) gives the best advice!

He was my guard dog when I was single and living alone, a companion in my life, a bed-hog dog, and my vacuum cleaner whenever it came to food.
