On June 1, 1999, Norm was notified that he had won a drawing sponsored by Premier Distributing Company (Budweiser) and held by Walgreen's. The prize was 60 Scratch-off lottery tickets. The prize was presented to Norm on June 2, 1999. After returning home with the prize, Norm and Pat spent the afternoon scratching off the tickets to see what Norm had won. The results netted him $35. Norm decided to use the winnings for the Powerball Drawing. Norm was a winner again, but this time the proceeds went into something for the car.
