We met at a central location and caravaned to the Crosswinds Grille at the local airport. After eating breakfast, we cruised back to town and parked at a strip mall where we could watch at least a thousand motorcycles pass by on their annual 'Toys for Kids' run. We were parked so that the bikers could see our Prowlers and there was a lot of pointing and thumbs up as the bikers rode by. After a solid twenty-five minutes of two-abreast bikes, we took off in another direction to visit a car enthusiast friend at his home. On the way back home we had a car pull up next to us and ask if they could take a picture of the Prowler. The woman with her daughter, had never seen a Prowler but she just thought it was neat - she said she collects Hot Wheels and it just looked like a larger version. She was really happy when Norm told the woman's daughter to sit inside to have her picture taken. We finally got home after six hours of spending a great day with friends and our car. |
