Engine Compartment Aluminum Support Bars

Instead of chroming the stock engine compartment support bars, Norm wanted a similar but different look so he decided that a square aluminum bar would look good. Lots of elbow grease went into shining them. From one 12' length, he cut four pieces to size and then wet sanded each piece until they looked like chrome.

Getting started on the project.

The center piece is what it looked like when we got it from the warehouse. The other two pieces certainly give off a chrome-like shine after wet sanding and polishing with Mothers Billet Polish.
