EAA Breakfast at the LC Airport - November 21, 1999

The panther is slow (downloading music), please wait. You'll enjoy it.

Several SL Club members met at the Fairacres post office parking lot and then caravaned to the Las Cruces Airport to enjoy breakfast cooked by the members of the EAA (Experimental Airplane Association). We were joined by a Corvette, a Miata and several British Car Club members. There was a pretty good turnout, the weather was nippy but very pleasant for a ride with top-down. Thanks to all the cooks, they did a great job.

There were a couple of individuals in attendance that had been inducted into the El Paso Pilots Hall-of-Fame the evening before and who also spoke to the crowd at the breakfast. They had some very interesting stories to tell.

You never know who you might run into at the airport and we were very fortunate to be able to get some pictures of Ted Turner's puddle jumper.
