My desktop icons are missing! HELP!   - By Scott

If you start your computer and all your icons are missing, assuming there are no users with access to play a practical joke on you (and this can still be a practical joke), right click the background, and you should see an option about Active Desktop or View Web Contents click it to remove the appropriate check mark(s). Once the Active Desktop is turned off, the icons should be back. If this is not the case, someone or possibly a virus, may have deleted them.
