Patriotic Banner

The pattern for this banner, designed by Quiltdziner, is no longer available on the web. However, it's easy to draft the pattern yourself using the measurements for the finished banner of 14" x 36" which makes the top part a 14" square including a 12" star with a 6" center. The stripes are each 2" x 22".

Make the banner, layer it with batting behind and backing face down on top, sew around the edge leaving a 4" gap for turning. Quilt in ditch or as desired.

Andy's Banner Andy and KT's Banner KT's Banner

I made banners for my two sisters who have children in the US military. On the left is Andy in the US Army, and on the right is KT in the National Guard. In the center is a banner I made for my mother with her two military grandchildren.

Manly's Banner Daniel's Banner Michael's Banner

The banners at the left and center belong to two neighbors with sons in the US military. On the left is Manly in the Navy, in the center is Daniel in the Marines, and on the right is Michael, also in the Marines.

Josh's Banner Mike's Banner

Here are two more plain banners.
