Quilts are displayed in this show by placing chairs on the ends of long tables and draping quilts over the chairs. Viewers are issued gloves at the door so touching is allowed.

Cats in Windows

If there was an award for Best of Show or Viewer's Choice, this would have been my pick from the 2002 Sierra County Quilt Show. Cats in Windows was Elaine F. Peralta's first quilt. Every cat not only has a different fabric body but the expressions on each cat's face reflects its personality. A real folk art quilting gem.
