ImaginEERIEing presents...
Carnival of Souls, Halloween 2005

Welcome back to the Carnival of Souls!

Getting your photos

You're probably here to download the photo(s) from your visit to our haunt experience on Halloween, 2005.

If so, we've got them, ready for your downloading and printing pleasure! We have posted them all to Shutterfly, a web service that allows you to download the photos for free, or print them on photo-quality paper for a small fee. (As I write this, they're running a promotion that gives you the first 15 prints free, so if you're only looking to print your photo, it's free.)

We don't make any money off of the photos you print off of Shutterfly. We try very hard to keep the Carnival of Souls free of charge across the board so that no one has to miss out on the fun. If you don't want to pay Shutterfly to print them, and you have your own printer, just download the photo and print it yourself!

We've placed all the photos from the photo booth into a Carnival of Souls 2005 album.

You can browse through the album and find your photo, and then use Shutterfly's features to print the photo and have it mailed to you, or you can download the photo for your own use.

You are free to use the photo of yourself and your family however you wish - it's yours to keep. Please feel free to browse the album of other families who visited the event that night, but please don't repost their photos elsewhere.

Why do you do all this?

The short answer is: for fun! Yours, and ours. Every year, we work for about four months to construct the most enjoyable and spooky experience possible for three hours on Halloween night. A dedicated and talented team of over 20 volunteers has helped us bring the Carnival of Souls to life, and we all have fun getting it ready. It's hard work, but it's very satisfying to watch you all laugh and scream at all the spooky suprises.

There's also a longer answer regarding the social value of Halloween, but we won't bore you with that. It basically boils down to the fact that Halloween is about community, about kids, and about courage, all of which we want to celebrate on this special day.

What else is there to see?

Lots! If you're interested in what we do and how we do it, you'll want to check out our ImaginEERIEing web site. There, you'll find lots of photos, the history of the event, and interesting behind-the-scenes information about how we bring the Halloween magic to life.

In the coming weeks, we'll be posting more information about how we did this year's shows and attractions, including video and photos that you can show the poor saps who didn't come out so they can see what they missed!

How can I help?

If you're interested in helping out with Carnival of Souls 2006, either by donation of money and materials, or volunteering to help with construction and manning, or if you're interested in starting your own home haunting project to spread Halloween fun to your own neighborhood and would like some advice, feel free to send us email at nephilimz@macz.com without the z's. We'd love to hear from you.
