Preschool

The Cloudcroft UMC Preschool is the only fully licensed facility of its kind in Cloudcroft and the surrounding mountain community.  Students range from infants to kindergarten age.  The Preschool provides a varied non-denominational, non- discriminatory program to educate the whole child - socially, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  A background of varied individual and group experiences is provided to meet each child's individual needs.

The daily program consists of circle time, story time, creative arts, music, dramatic play, physical activities, sand table, water tables, block stacking, science and snacks. The Preschool has a great growth potential as the needs of the community increase. This ministry is a vital outreach of our church and through its service has brought families into our church.

Now that the expansion of the church is completed, our new Preschool rooms offer more space for our infant/toddler; three year old; and, the 4 & 5 year old activities.  We also have an enclosed playroom for bad weather days.  On Wednesday mornings we have Chapel time upstairs at "big church".  At that time the Pastor talks and teaches all the children a moral or bible lesson.  All parents and guests are invited to join in.

The Preschool also offers a summer program for 6 weeks in the summer.  This is a fun time for all the children to have with their friends.
