SUNDAY SCHOOL

Average weekly attendance in 1989 was only 38. For the year 2000, attendance averaged 88. We have nine Sunday School classes ranging in ages from toddlers to adult (4 adult classes.) Sunday School classes meet at 9:45 am on Sunday mornings.


BIBLE STUDY Bethel Bible Series

The Bethel Bible Series Group meets during the Sunday School hour.

Experiencing God

There are two Experiencing God Groups. The first group meets on Monday afternoon at 2:30 PM. The second group meets on Wednesday nights a 7:00 PM.Disciple 1

Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study is a 34-week survey study which gives equal time to the Old and New Testaments. It covers Genesis through Revelation.

Disciple 2

Into the Word and Into the World is a 32-week study for graduates of Disciple 1. This study builds on the biblical knowledge gained from the study of Disciple 1 and deepens biblical understanding by probing selected portions of scripture (Genesis/Exodus and Luke/Acts).

Disciple 3

Remember Who You Are is the newest Disciple Study. It is also a 32 week study which focuses on the Prophets and the Letters of Paul.

Disciple Bible Study is aimed at transformation, not just information. It's purpose is to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ. Each Disciple Bible Study gives equal time to both the Old and New Testaments. The study draws upon the work of scholars to aid in the understanding of the Bible.

LIBRARY

Cloudcroft UMC has a very extensive library for a church of it's size. There are six bookcases containing a variety of books - commentaries, devotionals, concordances, Bible Handbooks, books on prayer and personal growth, as well as all time favorite Christian fiction. We have a good selection of children's books, as well as Christian videos. You will find in our library such favorite Christian fiction as "The Mitford Series"; "The Russians"; The "Left Behind series"; and the children's favorite "The Chronicles of Narnia".
