Visit the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park for a tour of the skies with the assistance of members of the Las Cruces Astronomical Society.

Visit the Asombro Institute's booth at the Las Cruces Farmer's and Craft Market in the Las Cruces Downtown Mall. Kids can make an art project that teaches about science.

May 10, 2008 - Critters in Your Garden
Visit Enchanted Gardens (270 Avenida de Mesilla in Las Cruces) for a unique Mother's Day celebration. There will be arts and crafts for the kids, live friendly critters you can find in your own garden, face painting, and more. And don’t forget to stroll through the wonderful desert flowering plants, perennials and herbs that are available at Enchanted Gardens. Let your mom choose a unique plant or top-of-the-line gardening tool or a piece of garden art for her Mother’s Day present..
