If you click on any node you will notice that the Control Arms and Control Handles do not show up.
I learned this trick in PSP8. It still works although I cannot find it documented in PSP9 or PSPX
"To curve the segment before or after a node, choose Curve Before [Ctrl+1] or Curve After [Ctrl+2]"
Use the keyboard, not the number pad
So what I do is Double Click on any Node
[Ctrl+1] [Ctrl+2]
Now I can see the Control Arms and Handles

Double Click on any node
Right Click/ Node Type/ Cusp
[Ctrl+1] [Ctrl+2]
Click Node #10
Tap the Right Arrow Key 20 times
Tap the Up Arrow Key 4 times
Click Node #9
Tap the Right Arrow Key 8 times
Tap the Down Arrow Key 2 times
Click Node #8
Tap the Right Arrow Key 11 times
Click Node #7
Tap the Right Arrow Key 12 times
Tap the Down Arrow Key 5 times
Click Node #6
Tap the Right Arrow Key 9 times
Tap the Down Arrow Key 1 times
Click Node #5
Tap the Right Arrow Key 8 times
Tap the Down Arrow Key 12 times
Click Node #4
Tap the Right Arrow Key 3 times
Tap the Down Arrow Key 10 times
Click Node #3
Tap the Right Arrow Key 4 times
Tap the Down Arrow Key 6 times
Click Node #2
Tap the Right Arrow Key 15 times

Click on node #1
Pull the Control Arm and Handle out slightly
Use the Control Arms and Handles to adjust the foot
Click Apply

Click the + sign next to front leg and front foot
Click on New Ellipse under front leg
Hold down the Shift Key and
Click on New Symmetric Shape under front foot
Right Click/ Group
Pick Tool [K]
Right Click on Group 1/ Copy
New Vector Layer: back leg
Right Click on the Image/ Paste New Vector Selection [Ctrl+G]
Paste the foot and move it so it is slightly in front of and a little higher than the front foot
Layers/ Arrange/ Move Down
Edit/ Repeat layer Move Down [Ctrl+Y]
Repeat the last step until the new leg layer is below the body layer

Right Click on Group 1/ UnGroup
Click on New Symmetric Shape and drag it up to the back foot layer
Active Layer: back foot
Layers/ Arrange/ Move Down

Right Click on Group 1/ UnGroup
Click on New Ellipse and drag it up to the front leg layer
Note: I did this so each part will be on it's own layer when I do the shading

Tap the Down Arrow key 8 times
Click the left node
Tap the Up Arrow key 9 times
Tap the Right Arrow Key 6 times
Pull the Control Handle down and to the left a little
Click Apply
