| PowerHouse! Youth Education Organization, Inc. |
PowerHouse! Youth Education Organization, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization in T. or C. dedicated to serving the entire youth population of Sierra County, ages 13-19 or 6th. - 12th. grades. Soon to be opened is the PowerHouse! Building - a youth facility containing the PowerHouse! Cafe, an arcade/game room (including an indoor basketball cage), and a massive auditorium to be used for concerts, drama productions, tv/video productions, and special events. Other programs to be offered is an after-school program targeted only for 6th. - 12th. grades, with tutoring available; special training in music, drama, multi-media productions and communication skills. Also offered will be job and life skills training. Plans for summer programs are scheduled for the year 2002. These are just a few of the programs that will be offered.
