Travel Information

If you are thinking about joining us this summer, the following contains travel information to the Cloudcroft area.

If you are flying, the closest airport is the El Paso International Airport - El Paso, TX. For flight and rental car information, visit the El Paso Citi - Guide. This site includes flight booking and rental car reservations as well as other information about the El Paso area.

The El Paso International Airport is approximately 110 miles south of Cloudcroft.  Take Highway 54 north to Alamogordo. Take the Alamogordo Bypass to the US 70/82 Junction. Proceed on U.S. Highway 82 east to Cloudcroft.  There is an Alamo-El Paso Shuttle that can bring you from the airport to Alamogordo at the Deserte Best Western Motel.  Reservations are required: 800-872-2701.  We will be happy to pick you up in Alamogordo if you let us know a week prior to your workshop when to meet your shuttle.   If you choose for us to pick you up in Alamogordo, you will need to be physically able to do a fair amount of walking, depending upon where you stay.  The Village of Cloudcroft is at 8600 ft. elevation.  PLEASE check with your doctor if you have a health condition that high altitudes might affect.
