The Fantastic
Four's lives are in turmoil. New threats raise their heads, both outright
and some more insidious. Some can be fought with fists, others through
the legal system. Facing bankruptcy, Reed must decide the future for his
company and his family. In the most turmoil of all is the lovable Ben Grimm,
the Thing. Locked in a monstrous body, has he finally found the cure to
what has ailed his soul for decades? |
This Fantastic
Four collection has some stunning artwork, right up there with the Byrne
and Perez rendtitions of the group. This book also features three classic
Marvel villians: Diablo, the Super Skrull, and the Grey Gargoyle.
Meanwhile, even as the team must fight for their very lives, they are also
facing bankruptcy. Pacheco and company are really enjoying their stint
on the book, using the Lee/Kirby formula, and still managing to approach
the material a new way. Their approach to the characters is interesting
and consistant with previous artistic teams. |
