Visions for Las Cruces

I have committed myself to pursuing the concerns and issues facing our community. Below are some of the visions that I will be working towards as your City Councilor:

Las Cruces Services

• Public transportation – work to enhance the existing services and expand the revenue opportunities.
• City Utilities – ensure the cost of service model is efficiently implemented so any future increases can be minimized.
• Community Development – focus on economic development, training and education as the cornerstone of enhancing job opportunities in our community.
• Customer Service – Reinforce a commitment to streamlining processes for individuals and businesses, with a goal of being consumer friendly.

• Water Conservation – champion a conservation plan that will reduce use of this precious resource, to protect it for future generations.
• Employees – Encouraging a comprehensive review of the employment benefits to ensure a competitive plan.
• Quality of Our Assets – The citizens of Las Cruces own the city’s facilities, which should be well maintained to protect our investment.

• Police Department – Staffing to meet growth in our community, with a focus on retention of our trained officers.
• Fire Department – Encourage the establishment of a local fire training academy and an upgrading of emergency services equipment.
