| Sergeant John Lovelace has been with the Sheriff's Department
since 1995 and has been a member of the Special Response Team since
1998. Sgt. Lovelace is the SRT's Team Leader and an H&K MP-5 operator/grenadier.
Sgt. Lovelace has an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Administration
of Justice and is a graduate of the Department's Basic SWAT school,
DASO's Advanced SWAT/SRT School, the Military Police's SRT Counter Drug
School and Paul Howe's Tactical Team Leader course. Additionally, Sergeant
Lovelace is a certified general and SWAT instructor, a certified Sage
