Musical Leather Sculpture
Using an inlay technique, the leather compositions are flush and mounted on wood. Copper wire, wood, musical instrument pegs and bridges and other objects are added to give the work three dimensions and the play of light and shadows. Inspired by music, the bold leather wall sculpture attempts to transpose a listening experience into a visual one . . . hence, the musical themes and titles.
