START/FINISH POINT... Sonoma Ranch Golf Course, 1274 Golf Club Road, Las Cruces, New Mexico.

START TIME...You may start any time from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM for the 10 KM course and 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM for the 5 KM. Finish by 4:00 PM. All times are Mountain Daylight Time.

All fees include IVV credit and should be received by April 24, 2008 There is no "A" award, but we do have selected "B" medals and patches.

LATE REGISTRATION...At the Start Point.

CREDIT/NON-CREDIT PARTICIPANTS... All participants must register and get a start card. The fee for IVV Credit is $3.00.  If Credit or Award isn't desired, participation is free.

PROCEDURE...At the start point, obtain your stamped start card and proceed to walk, jog or run the marked course at your own pace. Have your start card stamped or record the message at each check point. Upon completion of the course, return your start card to the finish point for IVV Credit. NOTE: All start cards remain the property of the Sun Country Striders.

"B" AWARDS...Various "B" medals and patches from previous walks are available for $5.00 each (includes free IVV credit).

REFRESHMENTS...The start point will have water and restrooms.  The check point will have water.

TRAIL RATING...The trail is along roads and sidewalks with some moderate up & down hill portions. Strollers should have large wheels. Not suitable for wheelchairs.

PETS...Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under control. Water will be at the start-finish and check points for your pets.

IVV RECORD BOOKS...Event and distance books are available at the finish point for $5.00 each.

MEMBERSHIP...in the Sun Country Striders, Ltd. is open to all without restrictions as to race, color, ethnic origin, sex, religion, age, national origin or physical ability. You are invited to become a member in the Sun Country Striders. Applications are available at the finish point.

DIRECTIONS to the Start/Finish Point ... Sonoma Ranch Golf Course, 1274 Golf Club Road, Las Cruces, New Mexico.

INTERSTATE 25 from the North: ... Take Exit 6 and turn left at the traffic light onto US 70. Proceed past one traffic light and exit to Roadrunner Parkway. Turn right on Roadrunner Parkway and proceed 2.7 miles and turn left onto Golf Club Road. Follow Golf Club Road approximately 1 mile to the Club House parking lot.

U.S. Highway 70 West (from the east): ... Take the Roadrunner Parkway Exit, turn left and follow the directions for I-25 above.

INTERSTATE 10 West/East: ...  Merge onto I-25 North toward Albuquerque, and take Exit 3. Turn right onto Lohman Avenue at the traffic light. Proceed approximately .9 mile, past three traffic lights and turn left at the fourth traffic light onto Roadrunner Parkway. Proceed .7 mile and turn right onto Golf Club Road. Follow Golf Club Road approximately 1 mile to the Club House parking lot.
