START/FINISH POINT ... South side of the Pan-American Center building; corner of Triviz Drive and Payne Street; New Mexico State University Campus; Las Cruces, New Mexico.

START TIME ... You may start any time from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM for the 10 KM course and from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM for the 5 KM. Finish by 4:00 PM. All times are Mountain Daylight Time.

LATE REGISTRATION ... will be processed at the Start Point.

CREDIT/NON-CREDIT WALKERS ... All participants must register and get a Start Card. The fee for IVV credit (event and/or distance) is $3.00. If no award or credit is desired, then you may walk for free.

PROCEDURE ... At the start point, obtain your stamped start card and proceed to walk, jog, or run the marked course at your own pace. At each check point either have your start card stamped or record the posted message. After completing the course, return your start card to the Finish Point for your award and/or IVV Credit.

**NOTE** ... All start cards remain the property of the Sun Country Striders, Ltd., and must be turned in upon completion of the course.

AWARDS...Various "B" medals and patches from previous walks will be available for $5.00 each (includes IVV credit).

REFRESHMENTS ... The start point will have water and restrooms.  The check point will have water.

TRAIL RATING ... The trail is level and moderate along sidewalks, streets, and walkways. Strollers should have no problem. Trail rating is 1.

PETS ... Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under control. Water will be at the start-finish and check point for your pets.

IVV RECORD BOOKS ... Event and distance record books are at the start-finish point for $5.00 each.
