You must take all the information you learn in life and digest it with the intellect you have. Each should learn both sides as that will produce an individual capable of judging the validity of this information.
You should not take for granted that I or anyoneelse is correct. You should learn to use YOUR life to develop your own opinions. When you read information, do all you can to distance yourself from what others have taught you. Review the information using the logic you know.
Our public schools are under the control of a few with their OWN agenda toward creating what THEY believe to be a perfect society. Our government is both a pawn in their game and has its own agenda. Together these two groups are revising history and failing to teach our children. We continue to be at the top not because of our schools and educators but because our brightest will ALWAYS succeed despite the best efforts of the system to crush their will.
I have taught many years at the introductory college level. I see the life and light extinguished in our children. At 2-3 years old, children are naturally curious. What parent has not had to answer dozens of "Why, Daddy?" or "Why, Mommy?" to their young child? After experiencing our government school system, these children, as young adults in college, no longer ask why. They no longer question. Their inquisitiveness is destroyed and they are on their way to becoming part of the controlled masses.
Universities are considered the bastion of higher learning however, the old saying, "birds of a feather flock together", goes double or even triple for university people. In addition to always being in private business, I have worked at universities a great part of my life. There is an "ism" there which is hard to corner but the closest thing is "elitism" combined with "egotism." Most university people lack common sense and have never had to work for a living. Employment by the government IS NOT working regardless. In order to work for a living, one must experience getting up in the morning and wondering if one will earn sufficient money to provide food and shelter for one's family. Those employed in "permanent" positions will never experience this feeling in the way that those who actually work for a living experience it.
Today's university people are even less capable. Many have never experienced life outside the Ivory Towers of campus life. They went from one degree to the next and on to university employ without stepping foot outside the system. Their concepts, especially those they use to bend minds, are one-sided and false. As you learn from others, take the time to consider what is said. Do not let your heart interfere with your logical side. Evaluate EVERYTHING BEFORE you decide. This is not say you should not be empathetic and sympathetic but that you must critically evaluate that which you learn.
As I teach in my courses, I can lie to you and unless you have taken the time to study, you will never catch me. It is up to you to learn and to understand. No one can make you understand. All that can be honestly offered is direction to the information. It is within you that the ability to obtain and evaluate information exists.
Remember: "Believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see." Extend this to what you read and you will be on your way.
