Astronomy Page

David Lee Summers is an Observing Assistant at Kitt Peak National Observatory. He originally joined the Kitt Peak staff in May 1992. He left in 1995 to work for the Astronomy Department at New Mexico State University where he helped to bring the 1-meter telescope on line. He rejoined Kitt Peak National Observatory in February 2008. His primary duties are operating the Mayall 4-meter and WIYN 3.5-meter telescopes.
