![]() ![]() ![]() Elaine was born and raised here in the Mesilla Valley, and although she has lived in other places, she always returned to the beauty of southern New Mexico. She really appreciates what the valley and surrounding area has to offer. You'll find her escaping on weekends to some of the many fiestas and festivals held around the area, such as the Hillsboro Apple Festival, the Hatch Chile Festival, High Rolls Cherry Festival, and the Renaissance Craftfaire. Elaine feels that her clients are the important element in buying or selling real estate. In fact, she left her long-term career working for Doņa Ana County to pursue a career in real estate. The reason: She loves to work with people, and the opportunity to work for and assist others in obtaining their dreams was too much for her to resist. "It's the people!" says Elaine. "That's what I enjoy most about being a Realtor®. Helping someone get into the home they've been working and hoping for; whether it's a little cottage or an executive home, it's the individuals I'm concerned about." She remembers a particular family and how, as a fairly new agent, she was able to help them buy their first home. "They were a neat couple with one little girl. And we seemed to be having problem after problem trying to get the financing and work out all of the details. For a while we were wondering if it was all really going to happen. Finally, all of the paperwork and the little glitches were ironed out and their dream came true! They owned their very own home and I was fortunate enough to make it happen. It was a good feeling!" |
