Introduction
This one-day workshop is designed to provide
a broad stroke overview of what distance learning is, where it has been,
where it is today, and where it is going. The administrator is introduced
to a variety of components of a distance learning program. A review of the
state of the art, who is doing what, and what you will need to consider
to get involved is addressed.
Workshop Learning Performance Objectives
At the completion of this workshop the administrator
will describe the major components of a distance learning program and what
decisions will be required for successful involvement.
The administrator will identify the major stakeholders
in their institution and who should be involved in the decision to implement
