Why Consult?

A consultant is a person with a special set of skills and expertise who shares this talent with others, either gratuitously or for a fee. A consultant can be self-employed, full- or part-time, or can work for someone else. Work can take place out of a formal office or from the consultant's home. Consultant skills can range from training others to tying fishing flies to designing multimedia presentations.

Most people taking this workshop will set up a part-time consulting business, usually from their home. It is also assumed that most of the part-time consultants in the workshop will conduct professional seminars or workshops as part of their allowable consulting time, as part of their vacation time, and/or during their summer periods.

There are many reasons to set up a part-time consulting seminar business, all of which are equally important. Please check off why you would like to set up a consulting seminar business.
