Introduction

This workshop is geared to public school teachers at the elementary and secondary levels. It introduces teachers to the state-of-the-art technologies of the Internet, World Wide Web, interactive television, as well as audioconferencing. It is designed to train them to develop top-quality courses conducted in real and delayed time. If the schools are using primarily compressed video, emphasis is placed on this area.

In addition to the topics in the national workshops, areas covered include use of tutorials, logistics, roles of field site coordinators, discipline, motivation, and guided learning, among others.
