Introduction
This workshop promotes proven principles of teaching and learning at a distance for all of the different technologies. It is designed for the beginning and intermediate distance learning instructor. Emphasis is placed on interactive television, live and videotaped, and how it can be used in conjunction with the Internet and the World Wide Web. Equipment operation and the use of specific presentation packages are not addressed. All of the time is focused on how to modify existing courses for presentation at a distance. The second half of the second day focuses on an analysis of verbal and non-verbal presentation skills.
