Non-declaration for Monarch

As someone who has held office several times, I am very familiar with the process. But this time I was just not in the mood to run...)
September 9, 1995 Be it Known to All These Assembled, as Representatives of the Populace and Leadership of the Kingdom of Dragonspine:
On this day, I hereby announce my desire NOT to run for king this time. Nope. Not this time, bucko. Non. Ain't gonna happen. Nyet. Not on the agenda. Nein. Don't even have your machine call my machine. Huh-uh. Whoa, Nelly. Don't take me there.
Yeah, I know what you were thinking. Thought you could sucker me into it. But that ain't happenin'. Not on my turf, homey.
To be quite frank (I thought you were Iggy!) (Shut up and let me talk, will ya?), I would love to be king again, and perhaps I will run in the future. I really enjoyed being the first king of Dragonspine, and would love to continue some of the projects I undertook the first time, but I just have way too much going on, what with my doctorate and all. I will continue to serve Dragonspine to the best of my ability, but it won't be from the throne. Not this time, anyway. Check with me again in six months. Maybe I'll be back from the brink of a nervous breakdown by then. By the way, let me state here that I really appreciate the loyalty and friendship of those people close enough to me, and brave enough, to tell me to my face that I was over-extending myself, and they really didn't want to see something bad happen to me as I crossed beyond the barriers of sanity. I appreciate the forthrightness of these people who are truly helping me look out for what's best for me right now.
