First Presbyterian Church
Las Cruces, NM

The InBetweeners usually decorate the church the Saturday before advent. This year was no exception.

Long before the main group arrived at the church, the McPherson family had brought the many boxes of decorations out of storage and provided ladders to place the decorations.

A photographic record, provided by Robert McPherson, of previous efforts made the task much easier. Particularly noteworthy was the attention to detail that made sure the overall effect was pleasing. Mel Perish spent lots of time atop a ladder carefully adjusting the right hand bow near the chimes. Pauline Farmer very carefully placed the pieces of the nativity set in front of the communion table to keep the center of focus on the main axis of the sanctuary. Judith Ames even ironed out the wrinkles on the bows.
