2006 Burns Dinner
A fun dinner commemorating the Scottish poet, Robert Burns, was held January 27, 2006. It was organized by Marjorie Burr with the help of many other people. Over 80 attended and a good time was had by all.
The dinner included cock-a-leekie soup, roast beef, tatties, bashed neeps, trifle, and, of course, haggis.
The piper was Carl Marten. Additional entertainment was supplied by Nora Yaryan and a group of singers organized by Eileen Hood and accompanied by Howard Smolleck. Below are a group of pictures of the activity.
