Building and Grounds Meeting Minutes,

Wednesday October 8, 2008

Present: Ralph Miller, Donna Mathis and Bob Paul

Excused: Charley Yaryan and Jon Bernard Nganou

Bob Paul Opened the meeting with Prayer.

• Old Business:

• Work day: We reviewed the activities and accomplishments. We had a good turn out and most of our objectives were achieved. A complete report will be published and results summarized.
• The out-front sign for Spanish speaking church was discussed and a strategy agreed on. Bob Paul will prepare a cost estimate and present a proposal to the committee for consideration by the Session.
• One of the important tasks not completed was to repair the West garage door. Jerry Grandle is planning to find time to locate the problem next week.
•  
• New Business
  • Ed and Donna Mathis replaced the lock and rebuilt the latch mechanism on the gate at the NE corner of the of playground quadrangle. They also continued the cleaning of the SE sanctuary wall.
  • Jerry Duran has completed several initiatives which have streamlined the way we set out table and chairs.

Donna Mathis closed the meeting with prayer.
