 Charlie Yaryan opened the meeting with prayer.

 Active Tasks (An informal survey was conducted on support for tasks marked with*)

1.Cross on church steeple*

Ways of accomplishing this economically were discussed. Some promising ideas will be explored and presented to the session with cost estimates. At present there is a good deal of sentiment for the cross renewal. (Charley Yaryan and Bill Brady.)

2.Electronic sign*

 Support for this project is strong. We will develop a proposal with details and cost estimates (Bob Paul).

3.Preparation of Facility Manual

The need for this manual is universally recognized. The Project was initiated,

assignments made, table of contents published and several sections started.

4.Refurbish the lighting quality through out the facility. Restore overhead fixture lenses and tubes throughout the facility. Replace the outside bulbs, ballasts and lenses. Needed supplies and materials are on order. (Charley Yaryan)

5. Handbook for use with Children’s Garden (Bob Paul). (80% complete)

6. Remodel east-parking area to improve handicap parking. *

 A proposal will be prepared based on the Phase II renewal plan.

Tasks Recently Completed

1.      Cleaned the stand-alone burner in Watkins Hall kitchen (Charley Yaryan)

2.      Repaired the doorbell circuit, Jones Hall (Bob Paul)

3.      Replaced the stall latch in women’s rest room, Jones. (Bob Paul)

 Projects under review

1        Toilet paper dispensers, Watkins. (Austin Breck)

2.   Additional Signs for Spanish speaking Church - two small auxiliary signs needed.

4.      Formalize notes and ideas of the job description for B&G. (from Session Retreat)

5.      Participate in the Mission statement review. Initial meeting complete 02-09-09.

6.      How to participate in the Good News publication. Under review.

7.       Sound coming across the pulpit area from the choir seems distorted. We need to see if we might improve the acoustics in this area.

8.      Need at least spot carpet repairs in the sanctuary. Set up schedule for cleaning. (Bill Brady and Bob Paul)

9.      Bird droppings, sidewalk at the SE corner of Jones Hall, comprise a nuisance. Several

possible solutions were discussed. (Ralph Miller)
