 Opening Devotion was provided by Gary.

 The minutes from May were accepted as written.

 The budget report was accepted. The team has spent approximately 25% of the annual budget.  Youth activities account for the majority of this month’s expenditures.

 The Sunday school and church school report was provided in writing from Gena Breck. She is still looking for volunteers for 2’s & 3’s and 4’s & 5’s during the church school hour. Gena also noted that there has been some confusion about which children are to remain in worship on Communion Sundays. The clarification is that all school age children are to remain in the worship to participate in Communion with their families.  Classes are provided for birth to preschool. It was recommended that CE work in conjunction with the Worship Ministry Team to address the communion issue. Suggestions included having special papers for the children to do on those Sundays. There was also a discussion about trying to teach worship skills during the time the children are currently watching a video. This issue was tabled until more members of the team are available to discuss it.

 No written report was available from Travis about youth activities as he has been busy with his wedding. Youth mission trips are on track for the end of June and mid-July.

 Tracy gave an oral report. Vacation Bible School is on track. Over $650 has been raised to support this ministry activity.  Students who attend Children’s Garden will be participating in VBS.  It was also mentioned that the Children’s Garden has had a rapid turn over of directors in the last couple of years and it is a concern that we are not able to have an effective ministry with them as a result.

 Future projects include the Discipleship Project (to be implemented in January) and the Night In Bethlehem (to be placed on the August agenda).

 The next meeting will be determined via email poll of team members.
