Budget Report:
Mid-year review of budget shows actual income vs. expenses working within designated amounts. We are waiting on reconciliation of credit card expenditures for a clear picture of expenses. The expected lag time is due to the posting of expenses from the credit card company. VBS actual income vs. expenses was maintained within budgeted amounts.
Sunday School and Church School:
Busy setting up elementary Sunday School beginning September 13th. Currently, looking for volunteers for teaching a rotation of Sunday School.. Judith Ames will acquire and review Gospel Light curriculum materials. Also looking for volunteers for the video class during worship. Adult classes led by Dick Dale and Blaine Goss are in the works. Some issues with the Children’s Garden with putting items in their proper place. Bob Paul is to follow up with issue. Seeking to have a consistent person to help in putting items back in their proper place. List of 3rd and 6th graders is being put together for distribution of Bibles on September 13th

Vacation Bible School – Many thanks to all who helped in this mission to our community. Averaged 18 adult volunteers and 20 youth that lead the children. Averaged 81 children a day. A VBS follow up report was submitted by Nora Yaryan praising the deeds and voicing concerns and changes. Thank you Nora for your reflection and insight for improving this great ministry.
Mid-High Youth Mission Trip – Trip was an overall success. While creating some new bonds and friends, the youth really seemed to appreciate where they are and what they have when compared to the people living on the reservation. Mark thanked the leadership of Gena Breck and Pastor Norm Story.
