Present: Katie Grandle, Joyce Gemoets, Carissa Brealey, Cindy Tafoya, and Tracy Geiger

The meeting opened with prayer.

1. Carroll Choir Dinner Discussed the problem with committee members not being able to help with preparation of the spaghetti dinner because it is on a Monday and most everyone works. Tracy will order the food items needed from Sam’s and make sure the tables and drinks are set up. Lon will be responsible for picking up the order. Katie and Lon will be at the church to help with preparation (others will be recruited to help with the preparation) and the rest of the committee will be responsible for clean up. Joyce, Cindy and Carissa have committed to be there to help with clean up.

2. Easter Egg Hunt Has been changed to after the church service. Lon is organizing this with Travis to recruit high school kids to help with the hunt. Joyce has purchased and stuffed the eggs so they are ready to go.

3. Easter Fellowship Hour Everyone needs to assist if available in set up and more importantly in hosting and serving immediately after church. Will need to leave church a little early. Discussed making and serving cupcakes to make it more special as well as the set up of the table. Joyce has purchased some Easter marshmallows and Easter pretzels. Cindy, Joyce, Carissa and Donna have volunteered to make at least two dozen cup cakes each. If others can do so that will be great. Please let Joyce know.

4. Church Softball League Katie reported that the games will be on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings April 17 through August. The team will play a total of 18 games (possibly more if team play’s in tournament). There is a registration fee and umpire fees. The committee present agreed that if enough people sign up to make a team that congregation life will pay the registration fee of $275 out of line item 809 Special Projects. Each person on the team will be responsible for $15 to cover umpire fees and tee shirts. The committee also agreed to cover any short fall in the umpire fee’s which is $14 a game. Tracy volunteered to place announcement in the “Good News”. Joyce will contact the worship committee to see we can have a minute for mission on March 30th.

Tracy or Katie will design flyers to go in the church programs beginning this Sunday. Discussed getting support from congregation and other teams to support and cheer the team on!!!!!!

5. Lon submitted written report that he has looked at the website and gave some suggestions to Alex and is waiting to hear from Alex. He will try to get the suggestions out to the group on e-mail later.
