Congregational Life and Outreach Minutes

 Attendance:  Joyce Gemoets, Carissa Rood, Donna Farmer, Lon Anderson

 The meeting started and ended with prayer.  Praise to our heavenly father.

 The following topics were discussed:

 1.  The group discussed the upcoming international potluck dinner in conjunction with World Communion Sunday, scheduled for Saturday, October 4, 6 - 7:30 p.m.

Actions: Set up tables with little cards showing the country/region of each food

(set up Friday or week prior to dinner)  (Donna table setup, Joyce type up cards)

Advertise in bulletin/ lantern (Lon) Cong. life provide drinks, paper plates, cups, eating utensils, flags (Joyce)

RSVP to estimate # of people, type of dish, country

 2. White Sands picnic scheduled for Saturday, Sept 13.  Meet at the church

at 4 p.m. and form up carpools from there.

 3.  Fellowship hour on Oct 5 is Cong. Life responsibility. Want to make it

match the World Communion Sunday with little flags on table (Joyce).
