Come learn all about the recent Garcia family adoption. Meet Tamara (Toma) and Katerina (Katya) and welcome them to our church family! Watch a PowerPoint presentation on Art and Lynda's adoption journey to Russia and back. Enjoy desserts and beverages provided by Presbyterian Women. Bring your questions and your appetite!! Remember: Sunday, June 17, 6:00-7:30 P.M. Please R.S.V.P. to Janet McPherson (524-3831) by June 14.

Lantern note:

There has been a good change-over in staff for our Lantern. Ann Miller has been gathering the articles and Linda Ramirez has been typing them into the computer. Good job!

An editor is still needed! This person will proofread everything, organize the pages including layout of the front and back, and work with Linda to get the finished product to the printer. This will be the last Lantern in its current form unless someone volunteers. I have continued to help John with editing these issues, but this is my final one. It has been rewarding work! This is an active, alive church!

Hoping to hear from someone soon,

Jackie Poling, Retired Editor
