Music and Worship Ministry Team Minutes                                                                                                   

April 8, 2008

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Members present: Lynn Lawson-Jones, Wayne Maley, Jacque Parks, Jim Parks, Norm Story, and  Marsha Topley  

 Meeting began with prayer at 7:05 p.m.  

 Communion on April 6,2008, served 253.   

Old Business:  Doris Hamilton has accepted the joyful job of filling the children’s bags for worship. 

The pulpit has been filled for the three Sundays that Rev. Story will be gone in May and June.   

The old set of bells has been sold and will be picked up at a later date.  

New Business:  Lynn and Kelly are working together on some exciting new music and new music groups for the summer.  Some groups will feature the youth of our church as well as small bell groups, duets, and other instrumental combinations.                                                                                                   

 The Worship committee is forever grateful and the church is so blessed with the beautiful adornment of the sanctuary. The committee would like to thank Mariann Novak for her hard work and expertise in making our worship experience so special and meaningful.
