The meeting began at 7:00 p.m. with prayer. The minutes from April, 2008, were approved; and the budget was reviewed. Communion was served to 295 on May 4, 2008.

Kelly reported that she is planning to attend a choral workshop in Concordia, Minnesota. The workshop will be held from July 19-23, 2008. Wayne listed some areas of improvement to be addressed at the workshop, including rehearsal techniques and choir member comradeship. Kelly also discussed some of the plans for summer music worship. The bell choir would like to perform more often with the choir. Doris reported that the liturgist pool is growing and has had compliments of the job performance. Jacque reminded members of the committee that they are needed to help prepare communion on June 1^st, as Marsha and Wayne both will be gone.

Old Business: Marsha stated that missionary, Ron Pontier, will be visiting our congregation on July 20^th and would like to fill the pulpit on that Sunday. Blaine Goss has offered to preach that day, so the suggestion was made to offer another Sunday to Blaine.

New Business: A church member has suggested that the church replace its damaged communion set with wooden ones and provided a catalog for the committee to view. The committee will consider replacement of the set with donations from the congregation.

The meeting was adjourned with prayer at 7:40 p.m.
