MEETING MINUTES – JUNE 9, 2009

The meeting opened with prayer at 7:00 PM.
Minutes from May 12 meeting stand as distributed. The Team thanks Michelle Del Rio for the latest, most useful budget report. Questions about “Music Library” and “Copyright License” line items will be addressed by the Moderator.
Communion was served to 240 at the June 7 service.
Distribution of the Choir Director position announcement will be made as widely as possible, without paid advertisement. It was modified with the phrase “It is desired to fill the position by ...” from “The position will be filled by August 1, 2009.”
Additions and wording changes, including comments from Ad Min, were made to the list of Expectations for Position of Choir Director that was distributed last month. It was moved and voted to accept the list as modified. It was further moved and voted to adopt the Chancel Choir Director Job Description as modified. The latter document is updated from the Ad Min files.
The need for more information for the church web page and possible public announcements about special worship services was discussed.
