 The meeting was opened at 7:00 PM with a meditation and prayer by Jim.

 Minutes of the November 10 meeting were accepted as distributed

There were 260 who partook of communion on December 6

 Discussion of preparation for Advent and Christmas included need for 6 ushers to light candles at 4:00 and 7:00.  The Joy offering to be received at both services.  No liturgist is needed for December 20, David is taking care of readers then and for Christmas eve.

 The Director of Music outlined a 2010 Concert Series Plan for concerts in our sanctuary.  Up to four events would increase our outreach to the community and share a variety of music with our congregation and the public.  A Hymn Festival with Dr Michael Burkhardt, composer/director would be the first on Sunday afternoon, February 14.  A second event with NMSU choral groups would be April 9 or 10 and additional events to be worked out for early October and December.

 It was moved and voted to recommend Session approval of the Concert Series Program and the first two events with offerings to be received to help cover expenses.

 It was agreed that young disciples would be invited to remain for the Cantata on December 20.  Christian Education representatives were advised to appropriately adjust and announce child care arrangements.

 The team recommends to the Session that Communion service be scheduled for the first Sunday of each month in 2010 except for July 4, and for Maundy Thursday, April 1.

  Special thanks, goes to InBetweeners and all who helped install decorations in the Sanctuary with the guidance of Mariann Novak and Erin Taylor.  The flood light Tommy Matkin installed provides a bonus – it aids those leaving at night.  Thanks, Tommy.  Flowers are to be added on December 16 and committee members should help install hurricane candles after worship service on the 20th.  Decorations will remain until after Epiphany -- January 16 was considered a possible day to returned decorations to storage.

 Additional upcoming Team responsibilities: Fellowship Hour on December 27. Communion preparation at 8:30 AM on January 3 and clean up after the service;

 The meeting was closed with prayer at 8:15 PM
