Minutes of March 9, 2010 Meeting

 PRESENT: Moderator Alex Burr, Blaine Goss, Richard Paul, Bob Taylor, Rosemary Maddox, and Doris Silva.

 The meeting was opened with prayer at 7:00 p.m.

 APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes of the February 9, 2010, were approved as published.

 DISTRIBUTION OF COMMUNICATIONS: Copies of "Mission Frontiers" were distributed to Committee members. Correspondence from sponsored missionaries or organization was distributed to the appropriate Committee member.

 MISSION RESPONSIBILITIES RESET: In the past we have assigned to people on the Mission Committee certain missions and missionaries to be the contact person between the church and the entities assigned. The current assignments are:

PEACEMAKING SEMINAR REPORT: Alex has not yet found anyone from the Jewish community who is willing to participate in the seminar.

 ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING (April 4th): Alex will write an article for The Lantern, and Blaine will give a Minute for Missions on Sunday, March 28th.

 MISSION BOOKLET: Alex is in the process of putting the text on Microsoft Publishing; attempts to put the work in progress on the website have not been successful. 

 ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned with prayer at 7:20 p.m.
