BAYARD WILDERNESS RUN

The Wilderness Run is a challenging and scenic course in the foothills of the Piños Altos Mountain Range, outside of the Gila Wilderness, taking place primarily off-pavement, on trails and dirt roads in the Gila National Forest. The 8-mile Wilderness Run, as well as the 5-K run and 5-K walk, start and finish at the historic Parade Grounds of Fort Bayard. The 5-K course circles the National Cemetery and the historic Fort Bayard Golf Course.
