This photo (borrowed from the newsgroup) is titled "6foot1fits" ...a great inspiration for us tall folk! Glamour Shot! How about those VG's? Donlin has some positive comments about them. Might be worth looking into them at Hall Brothers Tail Hook, handy for short landings over a wire fence;-), could also be used to hold the tail while propping.

Headwind style "Glass Cockpit" Another good idea to borrow from Donlin, a baggage compartment. A helpful photo, not just for detail but for inspiration. 2 seat Headwind problem solved! You just need really small pilots...
